The Stuff That Makes It Hold Up
This lamp leans on the halogen cycle to keep output steady over its life. The quartz envelope can handle the shock of repeated on-off cycles without cracking. Inside, the halogen gas keeps the filament from blackening, so the infrared stays strong and consistent even after hundreds of hours. For the connector, we chose R7s because it’s the industry standard for this type of lamp. It gives you a secure, double-ended contact that handles high current without arcing. On a fast-moving line, it’s tough, practical, and makes wiring a clean, reliable job every time.
How It Boosts Your Line—and What to Watch For
On a baking line, the goal is simple: more parts per minute. This lamp delivers concentrated heat that can flash-cure or keep products hot as they move down the conveyor. Because it responds instantly, you lose the warm-up lag that slows down older heating elements. The result? A faster cycle. But there’s a trade-off—heat. At 2500W, it throws off a lot.
