Let’s be honest: nobody likes stepping out of a hot shower into a freezing bathroom. But there’s a catch. Most high-power heaters are basically spotlights—they give you heat, but they also give you a blinding white glare that’s way too intense, especially if you’re bathing a baby or just waking up. We wanted to fix that. Our IP65 infrared lamps are built to give you that instant “hug” of warmth without the harsh light. The secret is in the spectrum. Standard quartz lamps throw out a lot of visible light and UV, which can be hard on the eyes. To stop that, we use a specific halogen gas fill and a special coating on the quartz. It basically filters out the blinding white light and pushes the energy into long-wave infrared. The result? You feel the heat on your skin, but the light stays soft and gentle. Dealing with the damp. Water and electricity don’t mix. Period. That’s why we wrap everything in an IP65-rated shell. It keeps the moisture and dust out so your electrodes don’t rust or short circuit. But here’s the tricky part: since the casing is sealed tight to keep water out, the heat can get trapped inside. If you cram too many watts into a tiny space, the lamp will just burn itself out. You’ve got to make sure your housing has a decent heat sink or a way for the heat to escape. Otherwise, you’re just cooking the heater. Getting it installed. We kept the connectors standard, so these should slide right in as replacements. Just a heads-up:be obsessive about your wiring. If a connection is loose, the high current can cause “arcing”—basically tiny sparks that can melt your plastic housing. We always suggest using high-temperature silicone wiring. It handles the heat soak much better and keeps things safe. One last thing. Because we filtered out that harsh light to protect your eyes, these lamps take a few seconds longer to hit peak temperature than the uncoated, “blinding” versions. It’s a tiny trade-off for not feeling like you’re standing under a stadium floodlight in your own bathroom.
