Power, Voltage, and the Right Geometry
Inside, you’ll find a 2500W halogen lamp, built to run on 400V. That high voltage is a smart move. It means you can plug it right into standard industrial power without pulling a crazy amount of current. The 300mm tube length isn’t random, either. It’s a calculated choice that gives you a focused heating footprint. All that energy goes right where you point it, instead of bleeding off into empty space. You get intense, targeted warmth, exactly where you need it.
The Details That Keep It Running
The quartz tube is filled with a halogen gas cycle. This is the secret to keeping the filament from blackening, so the light—and the heat—stays consistent over the life of the lamp. And the tube itself is coated to handle the shock of being switched on and off, over and over again. For wiring, we use an R7s connector. It’s a double-ended base that gives you a solid, low-resistance connection. It’s easy to wire up and it handles the expansion and contraction of the quartz tube without ever coming loose.
