Why 400V, 2500W, and that specific size?
The 400V rating isn’t just a number. It keeps the current lower, which means less copper in the wiring and less voltage drop over the line. And that 300mm length? It concentrates all that power into a tight zone, so you feel the heat fast—predictable, right where you need it.
What’s going on inside the tube?
Inside, we rely on the halogen cycle to keep the filament stable, even at scorching temperatures. The whole thing sits in a quartz envelope, tough enough to handle the heat. A reflective coating on the tube pushes more energy forward, so more of the warmth actually goes where you point it. And the R7s bi-pin connector? It drops straight into standard ceramic sockets. Wiring is quick, and servicing doesn’t mean tearing the housing apart.
Where it shines—and what to watch for
This setup is perfect for spot heating in enclosed spaces where you want still air and immediate warmth. No waiting. The heat hits the moment you turn it on. Just one thing: 2500W is serious power.
