But there&amp;rsquo;s a catch. Most high-power heaters are basically spotlights—they give you heat, but they also give you a blinding white glare that&amp;rsquo;s way too intense, especially if you&amp;rsquo;re bathing a baby or just waking up.&#xA;We wanted to fix that. Our IP65 infrared lamps are built to give you that instant &amp;ldquo;hug&amp;rdquo; of warmth without the harsh light.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The secret is in the spectrum.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Standard quartz lamps throw out a lot of visible light and UV, which can be hard on the eyes. To stop that, we use a specific halogen gas fill and a special coating on the quartz. It basically filters out the blinding white light and pushes the energy into long-wave infrared.&#xA;The result? You feel the heat on your skin, but the light stays soft and gentle.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Dealing with the damp.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Water and electricity don&amp;rsquo;t mix. Period. That&amp;rsquo;s why we wrap everything in an IP65-rated shell. It keeps the moisture and dust out so your electrodes don&amp;rsquo;t rust or short circuit.&#xA;But here&amp;rsquo;s the tricky part: since the casing is sealed tight to keep water out, the heat can get trapped inside. If you cram too many watts into a tiny space, the lamp will just burn itself out. You&amp;rsquo;ve got to make sure your housing has a decent heat sink or a way for the heat to escape. Otherwise, you&amp;rsquo;re just cooking the heater.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Getting it installed.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We kept the connectors standard, so these should slide right in as replacements. Just a heads-up:&lt;strong&gt;be obsessive about your wiring.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;If a connection is loose, the high current can cause &amp;ldquo;arcing&amp;rdquo;—basically tiny sparks that can melt your plastic housing. We always suggest using high-temperature silicone wiring. It handles the heat soak much better and keeps things safe.&#xA;One last thing. Because we filtered out that harsh light to protect your eyes, these lamps take a few seconds longer to hit peak temperature than the uncoated, &amp;ldquo;blinding&amp;rdquo; versions. It&amp;rsquo;s a tiny trade-off for not feeling like you&amp;rsquo;re standing under a stadium floodlight in your own bathroom.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
