You need a replacement that hits the same wattage and spectral output. If you don&amp;rsquo;t, you&amp;rsquo;ll end up with uneven heating in your preforms, and nobody wants to deal with that.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The deal with power and voltage&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;These KSB lamps run on high-voltage shortwave infrared. It&amp;rsquo;s intense. We build ours to handle the specific voltage swings that come with the Contiform power supply.&#xA;The goal is to cram a lot of wattage into a small space so the heat hits the PET preform wall fast. But here is the catch: your voltage has to be spot on. They heat up and cool down fast. Plus, we fill them with halogen gas. This stops the tungsten filament from evaporating too quickly, which means your light output stays steady for thousands of hours.&#xA;Then there are the connectors—usually R7s or Sk15.
