You get short-wave output that punches through the PET material much faster.&#xA;One quick tip, though: if you&amp;rsquo;re running these at max wattage, your cooling fans are going to work harder. If your vents are clogged with dust, your lamps will burn out faster. Keep them clean, and they&amp;rsquo;ll last.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;No more forcing things to fit&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We used heavy-wall quartz glass for the housing. Why?
